All Veterans Invited to Tour New Abie Abraham Health Care Center

Annual Welcome Home Event and Open House Scheduled at VA Butler

What: VA Butler Healthcare is hosting its annual Welcome Home Event for Post 9/11 Veterans and their families at the new Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center (HCC). In conjunction with this annual event, an Open House will be available for Veterans of all service eras. Veterans may take a tour of the new facility, and information will be available about VA eligibility/enrollment and VA programs/services. Representatives from the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), the Vet Center, and VA Butler will also be available throughout the day to assist Veterans and their families and answer any questions about VA.

Background: VA Butler’s annual Welcome Home Event provides an opportunity for all Post 9/11 Veterans to learn more about the variety of VA programs and services available to them. All combat Veterans may receive cost free medical care for any condition related to their service in the Iraq/Afghanistan theater for five years after the date of their discharge or release.
