Butler VA Announces New Interim Director

Butler, PA – The Butler VA Health Care System is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharon Coyle as the new Interim Director effective Monday, June 17, 2019.

“I have been honored to serve Veterans at the Butler VA since 2005 and look forward to continuing to serve them and their Families in my role as Interim Director,” said Ms. Coyle. “ My top priority has always been and will always be the highest quality of care and service to our Veterans.”

Coyle began her career at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) in 1999 as a nursing VALOR student. She held various positions of responsibility with VAPHS before coming to the Butler VA. Coyle was appointed to serve as the Associate Director for Patient Care Services for the Butler VA in April 2007. Coyle received her bachelor's degree in Nursing from Duquesne University. She obtained her master's degree in Business Administration and master's degree in Nursing at Waynesburg College.

Coyle is filling the vacancy left by Jon Lasell Jr., who resigned as the Director on Friday, June 14 for personal reasons.
