National Women’s Health and Fitness Day Event

VA Butler Focuses on Women Veterans’ Wellness

What: VA Butler’s Health Promotion & Disease Prevention Program and Women Veterans Health Care Program are partnering to host the first National Women’s Health and Fitness Day Event. The event will include tai chi and yoga demonstrations, low level workout stations, stress education, information about women’s health services, and more.

Who: All women Veterans are invited to attend.

When: Wednesday, September 26, 2018—12pm-3pm

Where: Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center (Wellness Center); 353 North Duffy Road, Butler, PA 16001        

Background: VA Butler Healthcare is committed to educating Veterans about their health and supporting them in their efforts to adopt healthy lifestyles. The Health Promotion & Disease Prevention Program is teaching Veterans how to live a healthier lifestyle today and in the future through VA programs such as MOVE!
