VA EMPLOYEES CREATE SPECIAL HOLIDAY - Veterans at VA Butler Healthcare received a very special treat this year from the Facility Management staff of VA Butler. Harvested from a fallen oak tree on VA Butler’s 88 acre campus, 60 handmade wooden holiday ornaments were cut out then painted, engraved and polished by the staff. Staff worked on the project during their spare time over the course of several months. On Tuesday, December 15, 2009, representatives from Facility Management distributed the ornaments, along with a gift bag of other items, to Veterans in the Community Living Center. (12/24/2009)

CFCCampaign21DEC10 - Each year, Federal agencies across the country rally together in support of local and national charitable organizations through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) program. The CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally raising millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (October 1st through December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.
