Butler VA Health Care System

VA Butler Healthcare's Prosthetics Department provides a full range of equipment and services to Veterans. These range from items worn by the Veteran, such as an artificial limb or hearing aid; those that improve accessibility, such as ramps and vehicle modifications; to devices surgically placed in the Veteran, such as hips and pacemakers.

To be eligible for prosthetic services, Veterans need to be enrolled in the VA, and their VA provider must request prosthetic consult with proper medical justification.

Services Offered
We offer a variety of services including, but not limited to, custom fabricated artificial limbs and braces, clothing allowanceshearing aids, eyeglasses, oxygen and respiratory equipment, blind aids, communication devices, hospital beds, blood pressure monitors, orthotic shoes, wheelchair and equipment, automobile adaptive equipment, and home improvement and structural alteration (HISA) grants. If you have any questions about these services, or others, speak with your VA Butler Prosthetics Team.
