The Butler VA Health Care System proudly serve America’s Veterans at our main campus on North Duffy Road, the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center, our facilities on New Castle Road, including the Sergeant Joseph George Kusick Community Living Center and Domiciliary, as well as at our five Community-Based Outpatient Clinics in Armstrong, Southern Butler County (Cranberry Township), Clarion, Lawrence and Mercer Counties.
The Butler VA has a Police Service. Our officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial extension 6002, or if outside the facility, please call 878-271-6002. In case of an emergency, dial 911. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
Because the Butler VA is federal property, all persons and bags are subject to search. In addition, no weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs are permitted.
Food and Refreshments
Visitors are welcomed to eat in the Veterans Canteen Services cafeteria located in the basement. We offer hot and cold entrees, beverages and deserts. Vending machines are also available for your convenience 24 hours a day. Visit the Veterans Canteen Service for more information about the services they offer.
A nondenominational chapel is located on the first floor of Building 1, and open to anyone at any time for quiet meditation and reflection. Protestant Worship Services and Catholic Mass are held on a regular basis.
